Good news for users of Windows the most used operating system in the world, Microsoft put the batteries using the capacity of SSD drives with Windows 8 to accelerate the start to the minimum possible time, the only problem there is no time to enter the BIOS .
Chris Clark (manager of the Microsoft User Experience) explains that they have decided to implement a new solution to access the BIOS because users will have only 200 milliseconds to interrupt the start of Windows 8 .
Now from Windows 8 will have a special configuration to access the BIOS from Windows , how bad they can only do this modern PCs use UEFI BIOS , and the old models would have the option to press F8 to access the BIOS while the machine starts. I wonder what will happen if Windows is damaged? we’ll see when it happens (unknown).
Now Microsoft has created a menu where we will be able to enter setup, and we will be able to boot from different devices such as a USB or start a different operating system.
With three options to enter this menu, the first is automatic if our computer has a problem to start Windows will display the options, the second will be from the same operating system from the PC’s configuration and the third from the home screen of Windows 8 by pressing Shift + restart .
Interesting what we see in Windows 8 only hopefully for good and not let our outdoor BIOS abroad.
