After installing the extension (without restarting Firefox), the address bar of your browser becomes smarter with respect to the common elements of Twitter. In writing the @ in Awesome address bar, followed by the name of another user, the browser automatically loads the personal Twitter page which saves having to type access to the full url (http://www.twitter.com) .

The intelligence of the address bar is also valid for hashtags. We introduce the term we want to search on tweets from around the world, preceded by “#”. After pressing the Enter key, Firefox has magically finding Twitter hashtags.

No less important is also that the plug-in adds the Twitter search providers to the search box in the toolbar. It is generally active for Google search, but any user can change it for searching Twitter.
