hufo – The human fonts  is a creation by Vikrant Kishore. Vikrant is my friend and is one of the most creative person I ever knew. Vikrant is a cool easy to go guy not worried about anything pursuing his PG diploma in advertisement and graphics. Recently he had come up with the idea about hufo and the result is this! cool looking fonts. Below is the detailed information about hufo, it’s Concept and all from the Designer of the font himself. hufo after installing looks like below.

As Vikrant Says

“My name is vikrant kishore and I’m pursuing my PG diploma in advertisement and graphics. Typography has always attracted me since childhood and have been bad with my desks and my books, scrbbling habit, which now helped me to come up with this wonderful font.

My concept is based on us, the humans, we are so many, all different from each other, speaking different languages, living different lifestyle, color, height, weight, behaviour, thinking n lot more. In short, we all are individuals with our own identity. But, what i noticed is that our postures are very much the same. So the idea of developing a new font came to my mind. After working upon it, I developed Hufo i.e. humanfont , inspired by various posture we see in our daily life and I guess many use these postures in their daily life themselves.

This is my 1st contribution in the font world, therefore, I have moved away from the traditional approach. I have tried to maintain the basic characteristics of the alphabet. It took a lot of observation and patience while developing this font, as i have used single human silhouette to represent the alphabet. hope you enjoy using it. I’ve also included the rupee symbol in this version. To use the rupee symbol, press the button (~) above TAB and on the left of 1.”

Above you can see the numbers in hufo with the new Indian Rupee Symbol. If you like the fonts and you want to support it you can share this page. You can join The hufo fan club on facebook from here.
