By -

Few days back I was trying something new with Windows Media Center I installed a new theme for Windows Media Center to change its look and I was successful in doing so with some software available online, But than I was not happy with the new look and I wanted the Windows Media Center back as it was before. As the theme I installed was not having any option of uninstalling it. this could have happened with you also at some point of time. so here I am showing a small tutorial to uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Center again so that you can get default Windows Media Center back again in your PC.

Go to Control Panel> and go to Programs and Features>

Click on Turn Windows Features on or off on top left corner>

Click on the highlighted Check Box in front of Windows Media Center as shown below.

on unchecking the box

Click yes and it will uninstall Windows Media Center.

Now check the box again in front of Windows Media Center

it will install Windows Media Center as it was available at the time of installing the windows 7 now it will ask to restart your pc and that’s it!.

you can install many other windows services with the same tutorial you can disable many services which you might not be using and might the be interfering in your windows 7 performance. Hope you like it. if yes then share it!
