Google close to launching a music service

New York Post newspaper rumor that Google is in the final stage of negotiations that will lead to the emergence of major new music service .Today, the U.S. digital music market dominated by Apple iTunes ( 24 % ) , and Amazon to Wal-Mart ( 12 % ).

Apparently , the music industry took into account the growing popularity of mobile platform Android and the size of Google, because negotiations with copyright holders are going faster than expected. According to unnamed sources , is now vice president of Google Andy Rubin , managing everything that relates to Android, has already met with the Harry Fox Agency, New York-based company that acts as an intermediary between copyright owners and willing to license them . According to specialists , it is evidence that the conversation with all the major record labels resulted in success for Google.

This means that online store will likely open in November and December.

Information about the music service is held in the strictest confidence . What’s the price?  digital protection ? will it support platforms other than Android?  How it will be paid / free? Can I download the purchased songs ? …. all remains question till the official announcement from google.
