Elastic: Visual Theme editor plugin for wordpress

Make Money Blogging with Posts Genius

Elastic is a framework which was presented few time ago is basically an “engine ” to create themes for WordPress, with the flexibility to create our own custom  made themes.

The name of the plugin I think is very well chosen, because the best way to define it is that it is “elastic” , and that can be adapted to the needs that the user has. But best of all this is that it incorporates a visual editor to create our own themes from the  WordPress panel.

Installation

It is very simple, just have to download the plugin from the official site, find the link at the end of the post . And then upload the unzipped folder to the WordPress plugin directory. Once activated will appear in the section “Appearance” The Elastic Editor, with it you will be able to start posting, adding sections , changing the size , fonts, etc .

It is clear that when you save the theme you need to activate it from the administration panel in themes, and when you see as the blog is going to find that virtually has no style , is just the layout. Here comes the part where you have to touch the stylesheet , but that is another matter.

  1. Found your site on MSN, great content, but the site looks awkward in FireFox, but works fine in IE. Go figure. Seems to be on MANY pages.

  2. Lovely site and theme, would love to see a bit more media though! One of my favorite subjects… Then again my site hasn’t much either – Great post anyway, added your XML feed! Cheers
