BlackBerry has finally launched a new product BlackBerry Z10. Thorsten Heins announces the biggest launch of BlackBerry, he declared that the new device is going to change the way people uses their mobile phones providing them greater productivity from their smartphone for both personal and business use.
The Z10 has a 4.2 inch 1280 x 768 356PPI screen (same resolution as the Lumia 920), a textured back, comes in black and white. It has got a 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (microSD storage up to a 32GB card), NFC, and LTE. The camera is 8MP and shoots at 1080p, but those are standard specifications and the quality of one 8MP camera phone to another has a major difference. Front-facing is a 2MP with video capturing capabilities.
The Z10 will be available on contract with AT&T and Verizon. The price will be nearly $200, for a 3 year contract. That is going to be a big deal, as more people are drifting toward pre-paid plans, and three years contract are very long specially for a gadget lovers who keeps on changing devices every 6 months. T-Mobile and Sprint will also be providing BB Z10.
Release dates will be in the “middle of” March for US , but in Canada BlackBerry Z10 will be available by February 5. In UK the phones are already available for sale.
This device is not going to Samsung Galaxy S3, Nokia Lumia 920 or 820 or iPhone 4s / 5 users that they will go and get this new BlackBerry Z10, but yes of-course this will be appealing and new to the Current BlackBerry users or BlackBerry Boys.
